Helloooo!! So I managed this update before the end of the month! The good news is that things are a bit less manic. I’ve managed a lovely beach holiday in Spain and as you read this I’ll be ready for Prague for a week. The Autumn will be more busy though as the project that never ends approaches

Julie C. DayI stumbled into #Bookwyrm yesterday and got all sorts of excited! No algorithms pushing up 5-star positive reviews to increase commerce. No ads. No crews of super-fan marketing armies. (I'm an #sff #romancelandia #literary #allthebooks omnivore. Some types of books on goodreads are just roiling with suspect reviews.) I'm trying to settle into #mastodon before really diving in, but I couldn't resist. I already have an account and my 1st "now reading" book!
Lavinia@paulthenerd Oh, poop on them. Agreed: it's all #reading and it's all #valid. I've got a nice #literature degree from university, but I'm really enjoying the #ColleenHoover novel I'm reading right this minute. :)
