@RunalongWomble Hi there. Just wrapped up V. Castro’s TALES OF THE DARK FEMININE and thought the illustrator, Sally Taylor, deserved a lot more credit than she got. Also just finished Alexis Hall’s THE AFFAIR OF THE MYSTERIOUS LETTER (queer Weird Holmes/Watson) and enjoyed that a lot!

@RunalongWomble Howdy, Womble. Currently working my way through the massive tome of Children of Strife by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Very interesting to see him return to his excellent Children of Time universe.

Also re-read Shadower, a graphic novel by Peter and Maria Hoey, because it uses such interesting art and layout designs it really needs a few read throughs to appreciate.

I'm currently re-reading Ancestors by Professor Alice Roberts which explores 7 burials from British Prehistory and explains how they expand our knowledge of early humans in the British Isles and how using the study of their genomes alongside the archeology is enhancing our knowledge
