I want to draw some attention that a lot of people associate automatically older people with conservative or exclusionary values.

besides not being necessary to explain how ageist it is, now the statistics prove that idea wrong.

last elections already shown a lot of right wing sympathy in the age group 16-25.

i am not here to fall into the trap of saying that younger or older people vote like this or that. Just that clischees about libertarian or conservative ideas being coupled with age are just wrong, factually, and rooted on internal ageism.

Debate about President Joe Biden's fitness for another term is resonating with other older Americans who, like him, want to stay on the job. Many older adults are wary of seeing a peer shoved aside because of his age. They insist it should be up to each individual when they decide to exit the workplace. Others want the 81-year-old Biden to give up. Although polls have shown older Americans are less likely to say Biden should withdraw, still, six in 10 people over 70 favored Biden’s withdrawal from the race in a survey by the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.
