
Letzte Woche zu dieser Zeit ging es in der englischen Übung #ElectricalEngineering um "Complex Phasors" bzw. das Rechnen mit komplexen Zeigern, das wir uns am Beispiel einer ohmsch-kapazitiven Schaltung angeschaut haben:
Anschließend haben wir uns in der zugehörigen Übung im Modul #ElectricalEngineering auch noch ein Beispiel zum Superpositionsprinzip sowie zur Leistungsanpassung angeschaut, inklusive eines kleines Experiments mit einer Batterie, einem Labornetzteil und einem Multimeter:

Two different companies make SMARC System on Modules using the MediaTek Genio 700. Yay competition and standards! The power consumption in sleep is 106 mW for the Ezurio board and 265 mW for the SECO. More than double! And there's nothing dramatically different about their capabilities.
I thought the SECO was available in single quantities. The Ezurio is, from Mouser.

Any #lazyWeb #ElectricalEngineering folks know of an archive of pre-slop-era #circuit designs with annotations somebody could use for learning / hobby fabrication?
I'm looking both for exercises and useful things. Maybe I want to graft an audio interface into an old casio keyboard or z-waveify my air fryer to send push notifications.
Internet search gets me some decent options but about half the time its pinterest or some seo/slop blog stuffed with the diagrams i want but lifted from context. I want the "i want to achieve x" statement too. I want the though process that goes into the choices.
Sometimes theres a "derrived from X" on a diagram but it doesn't say why he dropped these units or added those ...
We have a 40" GE range made in the 1960's. Before that, we had one made in the 1930's. As with our first one, the oven thermostat no longer works and there is no way to replace it (We've made dozens of phone calls across the country. There is most likely one in a junk yard somewhere, but no one has it inventoried).
When we use the oven we play a game of how wide does the door need to be propped open to be at approximately the correct baking temperature.
