@estrogenandspite We are all personally responsible for challenging and hopefully eschewing the zeitgeist of bigotry we became acclimated to whether that's Specieisism Queermisia Racism Colonialism Ableism Sanism or even ageism, because it is deeply ageist to suggest that people from a different time should be held to different moral standards especially when it comes to accepting amoral aspects of people's individuality like being queer
