#NowPlaying a throwback to the late 90s/early 2000s. Add N to (X) were a very strange, synthy, blippy electronic band that were only together for a few years at the middle/end of the 90s, and barely into the 2000s (they broke up in 2003). They made some catchy, weird songs.

Track 7 of that especially, 'Plug Me In', which is what got me hooked on them. The video for 'Plug Me In' has adult video actresses playing with toys, and isn't on YouTube. Add N to (x) were one of my favourite bands back in the day. I'm thankful to my younger self for first, buying all their records I could find when I got my first student loan and, second, making a compilation CDR of all the b-sides and rarities. At some point in the last 25 years I must have ripped it to MP3 as now have the files on my phone, listening again today was great.
I can't really believe they got so much air play back in 1999 or so. Remember various tracks being on MTV2 round my friend's house. The band really opened me up to a lot of weirdness and analogue synth noisiness!

The track I wanted to share wasn't on YouTube but here's Little Black Rocks In the Sun (which came on a 10" hexagonal record with a weird fold out iris cardboard cover). I've never seen this accompanying music video before.
