You get out of a social media network what you put into it. If you sit there saying "it's dead and nobody uses it" because you never check it then of course it will appear dead.

I've just started to become a regular Mastodon user and in just a few days I'm seeing new followers and friends coming along.

Since I've started my own instance it's really ignited my passion for the platform.
