Just been made aware that many student unions in the UK now have “liberation officers”.

Trump would hate it, no doubt.

It got me thinking though... what if research library staff thought of themselves as knowledge liberation officers, and the research staff too?

More liberation please!

After all, what’s more horridly colonial than being complicit in allowing large commercial publishers to have exclusive control on who gets access to knowledge? 🧐
