One of my goals (since becoming a mom) is to do less, free my schedule, be more mindful of my limitations. This is hard.
Today I said no to a publication I would have loved to contribute to, with the hope that my summer will be more spacious & expansive. Yeyyy to beach time?! 😊
Back to my writing routines after an incredibly challenging start of the year. Let the spring be good 🌷🙏

The first days of a new year have always been my favorite ones for academic writing. Everything is still slow and cozy, people are back to work but also not really, and I feel halfway restored after 10 days with by 13-month old ☺️ Let's do this! 💪
Review work done for this year ✅ Hoping to still submit one paper of my own before the end of 2023, but first, we're going on a little vacation (in the middle of the week as we have different teaching schedules) ✨ Let's see how restful a week with our walking baby can be 😅
I was super proud I met the deadline for one paper due mid-October, before realizing that the next one is due in 2 weeks haha (and not mid-November, as I thought) 😬😩 Will never meet that deadline, but I think I can live with that & it will be my VERY FIRST paper submitted late
