I have a question for #academiamastodon
I'm an undergraduate researcher (22yo) volunteering, and I've been told I may be given authorship on some papers that I've contributed towards. My predicament is that I plan to get married and take my partner's name, but not for a few years still.
I have an ORCid so I can easily change my name on there but my question is should I/is it allowed to publish under the name your married name will be? I want to head off the "maiden-name" issue at the pass
