To put this in perspective: #ATACAMS have a range of about 300 kilometers. Russia is about 9000 km from east to west. This is a step in the right direction, but in order to be a real game changer, #Ukraine would need those weapons in much larger quantities. Still - anything that's a pain in #putin's ass is a good thing.
JasperA few thoughts on #Ukraine the #War going forward. Im really interested what others think about it!
1st. Ukraine will now play #defense. As @anderspuck has pointed out in his latest, good as always video, Ukraine communicates that there won't be an offensive any time soon. That could be deception but I doubt it. Why?
A) The #Russian continuous assaults skews #attrition heavily in Ukraines favour. A ratio of up to 20/1 for #Avdiivka was mentioned iirc, however even if only half is correct its still massive. However expect minor loss of territory.
B) Ukraine will wait for key tech (#F16) & improved supply (#155mm shells) and further systems (#Tank, #IFV, #Mine clearing, #ATACAMS) before trying again.
C) The current russian #Air #terror against cities and infrastructure seems to be ineffective, with Ukraine shooting down almost all of #Shaheed send. However, it could be, that #Russia saves better #Missiles for a concentrated strike later on.

This system is unique in that two radar systems are installed on it at once and is a new model of #Russian weapons.

El Indifferente@mastomememakers sitting on #taurus or not. AFAIK so far the F-16 can't carry it and the Gripen is not to be delivered. What benefit would #taurua then be? Why not #leopard #phz2000 or #wiesel? #ATACAMs would also be usable? Why are so many people favour #taurus. AS soon AS #afu can usw them, I"m fine handing them over.
