I don't actually hate ALL AI. I despise the generative AI systems designed to steal art and pump out garbage. One kind of AI I don't actually hate is algorithms for creating post feeds. That kind of AI isn't stealing content, it's just putting posts on your dash that match detected interests. To be clear, I don't love it either, I just feel neutral about it.

Now yes, if you don't want to end up in an echo chamber of increasingly extreme/fringe/detached from reality versions of the thing you like, those kinds of algorithms and AIs can be detrimental. But I think it's partially the job of the individual human to remember to read news from places other than TikTok.
