@MylesRyden They are games for the #CouchPeloton (the mainly Australian group on socials who spend time enjoying pro road cycling on TV/streaming. We do have participants/representatives in north America, Europe, and the UK).
#FRATL is First Rider Across The Line and basically that's the game: guesstimate the time (in AEST) the first rider will cross the line in a given one-day race or multi-day race stage. For time trials the game runner tries to come up with a variation that will capture the interest of the players.
#TrollTips started as the game runner choosing a rider to win the stage/race and players having to tip someone who'd beat that rider. It's now mostly "pick the winner".
Keeps us entertained in the long dark nights!
There's also a cumulative game, #8Nations, where for a stage race we have to pick 8 riders from 8 different nations as our squad, with the winner being the one whose squad earns the most points. Points awarded on across the line, no bonuses or breakaways or assists like Velogames (which many of us also enjoy). So you can't for example pick Van Aert and Evenepoel for TrollTips.
