So, I decided to make her a new pair... Mainly because it would allow me to try out a new type of heel that didn't require picking up anything - thanks to @KororaKnits who mentioned this.

First of all, pick a nice pattern out of #52WeeksOfSocks & adjust it to fit.
Then, knit the sock from the cuff down until you reach the heel flap, where you work heel flap and gusset at the same time.

Ta-da!! They're finished!! Second sock knitted much, much faster than the first one!

They match each other but aren't quite what the designer intended. Not that anyone'll notice - I doubt anyone will be studying my feet!

Yarn: Purple cow & Robin egg is how you make some fancy legs by Black Stag Yarn (yes, that really is what the yarn is named).
