Currently on my needles (besides a sweater and a pair of vanilla socks to go): The #Lotte #socks from the book #52WeeksOfSocks. It's a real fun knit, and i love the unusual pattern! Btw, it's not as difficult as it looks. :)

Finally i finished the Jili socks. Although the pattern is not difficult at all it gave me really a rough ride. I hate patterns written in German and so I decided to buy the English translation as well.
It's not a quick knit with all the tbl stitches, the increases, and the decreases. But it is definately worth every single minute of knitting time.

picked up a new-old sock project (after quite a time of hibernating). It's the #JiliSocks from the gorgeous book #52WeeksOfSocks. It's a bit poky (almost all knit stitches are tbl), but nonetheless great fun to knit.

Just finished my this year's #yuletide #socks. They were really fun to knit and finished within three evenings (i always knit when watching telly). Yarn is #SandnesGarn Klompelompe Spot, the buttons were shopped locally. Pattern is from the book "Finnische Socken stricken für jede Jahreszeit" by Niina Laitinen.

Finished: Socks made to measure to the exact shape of my feet. It's quite an efford when making them the first time. But i'll make them again definately, since the pattern is ideal for hiking socks meant to be worn in boots for the whole day.
Pattern: Cat Bordhi, Discovery Sock.
Needles: 2,25 mm dpns

It's all socks with me at the moment, and i'll have a gorgeous sock drawer in the winter. Today i finished the Porch Light socks (No. 8) from the book "52 Weeks of Socks". I modified the pattern (toe up, short row heel) and used Mondim sock yarn (main), Schoppel Hanf (contrast, a leftover), and Ito Sensai for reinforcement and halo effect.

I just finished the Stone Socks from the book "52 weeks of Socks". They have an interesting technique rather used in Finland, Estonia, and Russia. The Yarn is Tieke Sock, colour "Safety first". #knittersofmastodon #knitting #socks #sockers
