It seems today went OK.

1. He had a 90-minute nap, and then went to bed early, so he's s getting a lot of sleep today.

2. He ate half an apple, and I saw him take a sip of water. Tomorrow he can eat a bit more, maybe vegetable soup.

3. He took the anti-nausea medicine on his way home from chemotherapy, and—along with us being careful with cooking smells—it worked.

🫶 Today’s #3GoodThings:

- puttering around in silence as I returned our home to its usual state now that our houseguests have departed
- talkin' notebooks with FunkyPlaid
- inking a pen with J. Herbin Vert de Gris

Tbh not a lot good today, I am struggling...

1. Yummy dinner

2. I have enough art supplies to last me a long time (a year or more I'd bet)

3. Dexter is finally back on the good anti itch meds after 3 months off them for vaccines

1) “Normal” S.F. temperature returned.
2) Tortie girl cat likes the new bed spread and now sleeps on my side of the bed sometimes.
3) Spouse got a grant to get professional art career coaching, and it starts tomorrow.

-helped a friend with some things (sloppily, but effectively)

-was able to be a decent companion to said friend despite not really being in the mood for company

-discovered that I can stop the Guardian's auto-playing videos by blocking JavaScript for just that website. Sweet relief!

• Starting a dream journal of watercolor paintings, with tools provided by a dear online friend

• Being awarded a scholarship so I can afford to attend a course that will help me move to a deeper level of interspecies communication and community

• The time, energy, and space with which to do these things

Ello sweet, lovely, and maybe also sporty Friendos

I am struggling... I love my time with the pups, I love preparing for Koa, I love knowing that in 23 days, a new part of my journey will start, and it will be "our journey" then, hopefully for many years to come... But still, I'm struggling mentally and physically.

So now, I'll *finally* try to share a Three Good Things again... As I hope it may help me to stay more positive. 😊

1. Counting down to many exciting dates: puppy visits, the puppy testing and naming, taking Koa home... 🗓️
2. Not giving up totally, even though my body and mind are struggling so hard to keep going... I guess the CPTSD is hitting me hard now... But, I keep doing the best I can! 💪🏻
3. Trying to enjoy the things that keep me to my routine, that keep me grounded (writing for my blog, watching favorite series, reading). 🤎

Thanks to all that keep supporting me through the bad times... It's easy to be there for the good, but it shows real compassion to be there for the bad as well!
