I've had a set of about 10 of these lads primed on my windowsill for like a month or two, so I've decided to actually paint them. This lad is a test run for a squad of #28mmscale beastmen for Shadowdark's "Lost Citadel of the Scarlet Minotaur" adventure.

I'm going to come back to him tomorrow and give him a wash with some Army Painter washes, then it's just a little bit of highlighting and drybrushing. If I like how he turns out I'll do the whole squad.

Trying out Valour & Fortitude at the Wargames Club this week (featuring my incredibly unpainted 28mm 1815 Naps).
Fun things that happened this week:
1) My opponent's cavalry refusing to charge twice out of two attempts
2) My carabiniers charging on from off the board, into a squadron of Scots Greys, whiffing every attack, and getting immediately routed
