And I guess the most obvious thing to test it with is mastodon.

And so:

theme color - #191B22
under page background color: #191B22 as well
sampled page top color: #282C37

So here the sampled color is better than theme color, but that one should be respected, so oh well.

More so if light theme is used - theme-color is still dark while both background and sampled colors are appropriately light...

And apparently there's one more layer to this.

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/ has theme-color set to white and yet Safari picks up sampled color: #1B1B1B

I'm honestly not sure why. Maybe it treats white theme-color as unset?..

Para dejar a todos contentos, podemos incluir emojis individuales. Pero es complicado.

Para incluir emojis individuales, estos deben seguir el patrón de emojis dispuesto por su majestad Eugene (el creador del software mastodon). Y estos son:

* el formato del emoji debe ser .png o .gif
* el tamaño del archivo no debe superar los 50kb.
* el emoji puede ser animado (igual no puede superar los 50kb).
* el emoji debe ser cuadrado.
* el tamaño no importa, pero cuadrado!
* el nombre es importante porque es lo que se usará para completarlo. Ejemplo:   se escribe : blobaww : sin espacio.
* si es un emoji existente, ok. Con los requerimientos especificados estamos bien.

Si es un emoji propio, es decir, si quieren aportar un emoji/s realizado por uds, aparte de todo lo indicado deben:
* opcional: por temas estéticos pueden asumir que los colores de background serán en un 90% alguno de estos: #1F232B, #282C37, #D9E1E8, #E6EBF0, #FFFFFF.
* si es un emoji nuevo y son el autor, entonces deben publicarlo bajo licencia Creative Commons 4.0 o similar. Esto lo hacen poniendo el emoji/s en un archivo .zip junto con un README diciendo que el copyright es de ustedes y que la licencia que usan es Creative Commons 4.0.

La licencia es importante! Lo que pasará es que otras instancias replicarán su emoji y formará parte del fediverso. Así que sueltenlón (?) con la licencia apropiada.
