The 8110 was engineered with ergonomics in mind, its distinct curved body perfectly contoured to the user's face, bringing the microphone closer to the mouth. Although the spring-loaded automatic mechanism seen in the movie was a custom prop, the original 8110 remained an elite status symbol and a timeless icon of 90s design.
