- Does the surface of the original have visible or audible damage that isn't just cleanable dirt?

- What's the source of the so-called #audiophile pressing - the poor digital remaster that brought the original to CD? The original #analog tape? The liars at #MoFi whose #DSD remasters still sound good and omg everything I believe in is a lie?

ALL things being equal, I'll take clean new #180g #vinyl over the original. If it's a remaster by a trustworthy source like, say, Analogue Productions, even more so - but I'll swap it into the original's jacket if I have it if the idiots who made the new one defiled the jacket with the UPC rather than putting it on its shrink/outer bag. Woe to my heirs who'll need to sort this mess out.

As I quarantine I'm spinning every VoiVod LP back to back. Fuck Yeah!
