First Sunday sounds coming from Miles Davis - Kind of Blue. This is the MoFi Box and while not the worst I’ve heard this album, it’s certainly quite far from the best too.

Compared to the all analogue chain pressing that was done in 2013 for RSD, this one is a bit of a mess.

First it was a Tape to DSD64 to Record process, it’s also full of pressing issues which were never caught in the QC which is a shame.

My own copy while not too bad, it does have some issues with record 2, the spindle hole is slightly off leading to miss tracking and slight distortion especially in the miss on the outer edge of the record. It’s also quite a noisy record too.

There was a tenacious strip of clouds low on the Easten horizon (because of course). Just at the end of totality the Moon began to rise above it.
Which meant improvising the composition, but considering conditions pictures came out decent.
