Microwave bands are cool for a few reasons, but how often can you say you can fit an 8 element Yagi in the palm of your hand? #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #Antennas #13cm #Microwaves
Another successful UKAC night, this time on 13cms. We can only use this band when the weather is agreeable, which it was on Tuesday evening! #UKAC #RSGB #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #13cm

Some new (to me) antennas :)

Sadly not mine.

Analog Devices #cn0417 is indeed about 20dB difference ( the hold grey line to -40 is with that small power amplifier ).
The -60 is without, bare #AdalmPluto

Setup for setting setting up the power meters and the drive amplifier output power.

I was not expecting 8W, but I was also not expecting 2.5W (+33.94dBm) from it.
And that's the saturated power it seems.

Left most one is not 900MHz, but 2.4GHz FM. Had my first #13cm band QSO's with that thing.

If you want tiny batteries, the topmost radio has a Nokia BL-5C on the other side!

Some glacial progress on the 2.4GHz FM repeater project.

Added some preset trimmers to finally free up some power supplies while using the TX and RX chains.

Might also eventually need to properly reverse engineer the PA constant current thinggy, so that I can bias it closer to class-c and pull more power from it.
Tho I should also snowflake it.
But a single NBFM carrier ain't gona need the linarity multimegabaud QPSK did.

Measured an #antenna that I got from a friend.
He has two full arrays of these.
So finding out that it seems usable across all of the #13cm amateur radio band was nice.
