@therealahall yeah, mastodon actually makes the export/import easy. but I want to prune my following list a bit in the process. My acct is several years old (though I haven't used it in 2+ years) -- a bit of a mess, so I'm running my list through a filter to throw out inactive, bots, etc.

@yocum137 yep. It's not multi-region, but of the things I have in the cloud, this is pretty far down the priority list.

@therealahall it was (or should have been) who you were following. Followers of you will move as soon as their servers see your redirect and alias correctly. but you have to export who you are following and import to the new server.

I should also mention that I haven't added verification to my main website (zebpalmer.com) yet for the typical techie reason of: I haven't touched it in 5 years & I need to relearn Hugo themes and fix a CI/CD issue before I dare touch it. I don't have the mental capacity to deal with front-end work atm...
