working on a little windows app that puts a cap on loud noises. will be free + open source

it works by examining the current audio data being played and if it is above some threshold, it automatically turns the system volume down before the user actually hears it.

need some ideas for a name. considering "volimit" (which gets across the volume-limiting purpose, but sounds too much like vomit) or "mufflr" (sounds more like a real product, but it doesn't really "muffle").

trying to get back into the habit of posting things again so heres my little indoor herb garden that i have been working on

left to right on the first pic: asparagus fern, rosemary cutting, 2 avocado seeds (they take ages to get going), basil, more rosemary cuttings, several lettuce seedlings growing hydroponically. i had some tomato and chilli pepper seedlings but they've recently graduated to the garden

i dont know what i did but the basil leaves are huge !

throwback to when i was working on a zoo builder game. i loved those little penguins
