there are so many people i could name off the top of my head who if they were given 2 years living salary would change the whole world. but instead they have to beg for scraps while businesses shit infinite money down the drain

what i find so depressing about the metaverse is the scale of it. they spent so much money on effectively an MMO but employed nobody who cared. if they had split the same money on 10,000 creatives who actually gave a shit, who were allowed to make stuff they wanted to make, then the return on investment would be immense, and would benefit culture on an international level. but instead it was spent on middle managers who wanted to sell virtual real estate to wankers

@ruby0x1
i think i had a look at that page when i first got into the luxe alpha, but that was a few years ago, but i've given it another go today

i think the article is really useful but some of the example snippets are hard to follow because they are very generic - eg. using "value" "string" "get" "number" etc as variable names, which makes it hard to untangle what's a keyword and what's not

@ruby0x1 this looks great, every feature looks cool - i'm especially looking forward to C# support as the overhead of learning wren is a bit of a speed bump for me. the showcase also looks like a good way of seeing how tools work. really cool project!!
@kenney didn't know you were working on zelda echoes of wisdom
