Something too on the nose about McCarthy finally winning the Speaker vote—not because enough people voted for him—but because he prevented enough votes against him.

Another reminder that the GOP knows they can’t win on candidate popularity so they run & win on voter suppression.

Hi I'm Dylan - I'm a geographer who somehow backed into the world of software, spending time at MS, Google, and now GitHub.

I'm a crap programmer but still get my best thrills trying to solve a problem with technology. Like using Go, SQL, YAML, and PDF generation libraries to make...an address list 🤷

I've been procrastinating writing my #introduction post, so here we go.

I'm a software engineer primarily working in #dotnet. I prefer #fsharp, but #csharp works too.

In my free time, I play too much #FFXIV. I'm a moderator for the free company Rainbow Garden on Faerie.

Other interests include playing tabletop RPGs, checking out the local vegan restaurants, reading, and taking naps.

I'm Tyler, I like #electrical and #mechanical design. Basically, hardware. Especially, #robotics and consumer electronics. With any luck I'll be doing something along those lines after I graduate this April.

I’m a software dev w/ 20+ years getting paid to curse at computers. I started writing c and TCL on Linux, but now I’m a Staff Dev at Stack Overflow writing mostly C#, sql and html.

I’ve lived in the Chicago suburbs for ~15 years, but grew up in rural Texas w/ cows in the backyard. I’ve been married now for as long as I haven’t. I have Tourettes, which comes with acute anxiety and depression, so I’m a fan of modern medicine.

So this happened: The organizer of the “Freedom Convoy 2.0” in Canada says he’s cancelling the event because someone “infiltrated and sabotaged my entire team, my web platform and all of my data.”

In case you’re not familiar, the convoy is a far-right movement that grew out of Canada’s anti-vax and Yellow Vest movements.
