I finally got around to catching up on the results for both the Mariners and Hearts ladies...
Hearts thrashed Hamilton 6-1. Katie Lockwood with four.
The Mariners were unlucky not to come home with a point as the Victory scored a stoppage-time winner. Chinese international Wurigumula has become a real game-changer for the Mariners in recent weeks.

The Mariners got off the mark with their first win of the season today in the F3 derby.
They played like the team that won the Championship last year. Hungry and made the most of their chances.

In Scotland, a Lawrence Shankland goal was the winner for the Jambos against St. Johnstone.
Zander Clark was also on point in goal.

Here's what I'm currently reading and listening to:
Michael Katz has published a new translation of Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov.
It's about 900 pages, so it might take me the entire six weeks to get through it. The cover design and typeface are beautiful.
As it's moving into the Advent season, I thought I'd do a reading a day from Fleming Rutledge's great book Advent: The Once and Future Coming of Jesus Christ.
