@aboutsignal

I'd wish they offer a sensibly coded client that doesn't require half a gigabyte of disk space for what it does...

So I've been enamored of #Next and its retro-cosplay implementation at NEXTSPACE. But it would only build on Linux.

I have a developer release proof of concept working for FreeBSD. Maybe it works for you?

Looks like much ado about nothing to me. There is nothing qualifying as an *explanation*, but rather only claims and complaints.
Seen from the outside, Fosstodon appears to be up and running fine, and i don't see any signs of it being blocked here on mastodon.social either.

Why?

Any source to read about the reasons?

Anybody able and willing to provide me a fosstodon.org invite?
Please contact me privately.

EDIT: Thanks! I'm in now!

I have just released version 1.9.0 of the #TLP #Linux #powersaving tool.

Enjoy the brand new #tlp-pd (TLP Profiles Daemon) for easy profile switching with a mouse click!

tlp-pd replaces #power-profiles-daemon by implementing the same D-Bus API that major Linux desktop environments like GNOME, KDE and Cinnamon already use.

Opinion: Paying Ingress NGINX maintainers for their work might have avoided this outcome

Just verified the current #wmlive version for arm64 boots just fine on a #PinebookPro, thanks to #towboot enabling UEFI booting. This also includes the graphical Debian installer, so no more fiddling with the serial console.
