Well that's fun - #tlp stopped working on my thinkpad because ... reasons? On thinkpads you need to have some kernel modules installed to deal with the somewhat proprietary hardware. Which I have?

Anyhow, not sure I love the idea of this 20+ year old battery being charged up to capacity.

EDIT: hooray, fixed it. Reinstalled tp-smapi, helpful message in apt told me I'd need to also install kernel headers. Now I can keep this very VERY old battery between 40-75%.

Desde hace semanas que me vuelven las ganas de querer morirme, de querer quitarme la vida, de querer que deje de doler..
Avanzo en algunos ámbitos de mi vida y me abandono en otros. ¿Cómo hace la gente para llevar su vida? Es una duda que me avasalla. Hago como que todo funciona, voy a trabajar, sonrío, me preocupo por los demás pero hace días que no me ducho. No puedo parar de pensar en hacerme daño, de preguntarme para qué. Aunque sé que no es la solución y no lo hago.

I just released version 1.10.1 of the #TLP #Linux #powersaving tool. It fixes a charge threshold issue on Lenovo laptops (non-ThinkPad and ThinkBooks) and the start of tlp.service on Fedora.

Following a successful beta phase, version 1.10.0 of the #TLP #Linux #powersaving tool has been completed and published today.

You can now choose the profile to use for automatic switching. For example, you may set it to balanced on AC and power-saving on battery power.

Support for power profiles and frequency limits on Intel Xe/Arc GPUs has been added, charge thresholds work with newer kernels and additional hardware.
