@nicole4fox yeah, @pine64 / #Pine64 make some cool hardware for those that know how to code and/or solder.
- I still find it sad that the #Pinebook got discontinued cuz I'd love to port @OS1337 to it…
- And with the current #AIbubble the #PinebookPro doesn't seem underpowered anymore...

jloc0I was trying to install #debian on my #pinebookpro, as I turn it on semi-yearly and the slackware update churn just isn’t for this device. They have images you cat together, one with firmware, the other the net installer. Only the firmware image doesn’t actually contain any useful firmware. Can’t use wifi without the brcm driver to install the OS even. Why make a pinebookpro firmware image if there’s no firmware on it? 🙃
Replacing libarm64ecfex and libwow64fex with the ones from Hangover project finally made Wine i386/x86_64 emulation working.
Sounds like the libraries from Fedora's COPR is broken.
Vagrant Cascadian#PineBookPro was my primary computer for probably two years. It was good enough for most things, and running off of #Solar was pretty nice to mostly draw under 10 watts. Still use it a few times a week for various things.
The barrel jack power supply is broken, but usb-c power still works, and there's a crack on the plastic frame near the hinge, or I would probably use it more...
I had previously also used the original #PineBook regularly for a couple years, so was a huge upgrade!
