TLP crashing T2 Ubuntu 24.04 #2404 #macbookpro #displaylink #tlp

Version 1.9.1 of the #TLP #Linux #powersaving tool was released. It consists mainly of security fixes for #tlp-pd. For details, please refer to the publication by the #openSUSE Security Team.

I'd appreciate more input from you here:
How do get NVidia RTX mobile to sleep and conserve power? #nvidia #suspend #powermanagement #tlp
i guess installing #tlp on #fedora really messed up something with gnome because it kept spitting out error messages about something being destroyed when it would wake. it was good enough reason to install #debian on my (modified) 2013 macbook pro and debian seems to be working a lot better on it for some reason. 馃
I'd like to hear your opinion on #TLP auto-switching.
Since release 1.9, #TLP has three #powerprofiles: performance (automatically on AC power), balanced (automatically on battery power), and power-saver (only manually by the user).
Should there be an adjustable preference that allows for something other than the fixed assignment to the power source? What are your use cases?

I have just released version 1.9.0 of the #TLP #Linux #powersaving tool.
Enjoy the brand new #tlp-pd (TLP Profiles Daemon) for easy profile switching with a mouse click!
tlp-pd replaces #power-profiles-daemon by implementing the same D-Bus API that major Linux desktop environments like GNOME, KDE and Cinnamon already use.
