I saw a blog post come through my RSS feeds from RubyFlow (a Ruby blog aggregator) with the title “Rails 7 pagnination with Kaminari tutorial” and I instantly thought, why would anyone use Kaminari?

Kaminari, according to Pagy:
- is 40x slower than Pagy
- uses 36x more memory than Pagy
- creates over 6,400 objects (compared to Pagy’s 184 objects)

Initially, I thought someone used AI to write the article, but it doesn't appear to be AI written.
