The conductor on the commuter rail today got me to take my headphones off because he wanted to ask questions about my Steam Deck. Not sure if I was more annoyed by the unexpected social interaction or by him having to walk away in the middle of me infodumping because we reached the next stop. #AuDHD

Discovered Steam Notes today; I knew it was there but I didn't realize I had a use case until I realized I can just copy/paste walkthroughs and maps to have available right there on the Steam Deck where I'm playing the game.

Extra bonus is that they're saved locally, so I can even have them available when I'm playing on the train with spotty cell service. 🎉 #steamdeck

Update on the PS5 bricking saga:

Console is FUBAR and has to be sent into Sony for service, which costs $250 and could take over a month.

So I guess I'm buying a new PS5 today. 😭

So my new headcanon is that Rose from the Golden Girls is (undiagnosed) autistic, and St Olaf was a magical place where everyone was neurodivergent, so everything they did there made sense to each other.

The problem with that headcanon is that when you start looking at it that was, Dorothy and Blanche are pretty abusive toward her because her brain works differently…

A few quick tips for new #MstdnGames users:

1) Since this is a 'niche' instance, my first recommendation is to check out the 'Local' feed. You will find public posts here from users ONLY on our instance. You'll quickly be able to find your people and they'll be able to find you!

2) Write an #introduction post and use #Hashtags -- that's how we find each other on this platform. (i.e. #gaming #Nintendo #PS5, etc)

3) Have fun! Reach out if you need help - our community is very friendly.
