The UK government is reported to be drawing up plans to nationalise parts of the failing water industry; & to take liability for the debts created by previous directors & shareholders.

Let's just pause & think about this for a moment.

The directors & shareholders have acquired immense sums of money by dubious means; they are responsible for the current situation. They must remain responsible for the debts, while the UK takes over the assets & responsibilities of providing the service.

The stock market is failing according to the CBI. So why don’t we just let it go?

The CBI is saying that the situation with regard to the UK stock exchange is getting desperate, because it is losing out to overseas markets and not attracting sufficient business. In this article I thought I would look at the 5 main causes of unhappiness:

1. The MCS heat pump survey overestimates the heat pump size required.
2. Heat pump siting.
3. The primary pipework is too narrow.
4. The secondary pipework is too narrow.
5. The radiators are too small.
