As the light fades to darkness, the temperature drops, and the river takes on a tranquil and sometimes eerie quiet, the rafts slip off towards their final kilometers on the river. This is where we see the raft crews come together; this is where the memories that last a lifetime are forged.

31 Venturers at the 1st Eltham Venturer planning night tonight. We have implemented 4 Patrols and Patrol Leaders as we now have 43+ Venturers including new enquires.

Thanks for a productive night, some great work, and achievements.

The Patrols were very useful.

⛺️ Three nights, three days; from Johanna Beach to Ryans Den, Ryans Den to Devils Kitchen, Devils Kitchen to the 12 Apostles.
More than a decade ago we did the first half of this walk - it was time to finish it off. Pleasant walking along the coast with a fair bit of sea mist controlling the temperature for our walk. Numerous flowers, lots of wildlife, quite a few hills and a fair bit of sand.
