if you've ever messed up a dimension or a hole position on something you're building, don't be too hard on yourself.

at least you're not the Cisco design engineer who caused an entire product line recall by placing the mode button (which resets the switch if held) directly above an RJ45 port.

#NaNoWriMo? More like NoNuNaNoWriMo (No Nut & National Novel Writing Month). Now, that's some challenge!
Just because most artists don't have the time to report every site and legally have little power to do something against it, doesn't make it okay in any way. It's rly disrespectful of the time and passion they put into something. It's mean

Whatever you do, you need to introduce any changes gradually, and permit users to mintain the original UI that they experienced, and the original UI that actually brought them into your product in the first place.

A weird side effect from the flood of AI art is that now I reflexively check out the hands and fingers in an art piece because they have such trouble rendering them. As a beginning doodler, I'm happy to see the smartest of neural nets having the same problems as me!
Watching other social media sites devolve into chaos just makes me realize that I am grateful for the friendships I've made across the world - and I want to keep in touch with the people I love. I'm bad at that kind of reaching out, so please know - I am here, and I'm happy to hear from people who reach out to me.

#WebComponents, #webdev, and #galaxybrain moment

Why don't we just fuse #DataAttributes and #CustomElements? All I see in the Internet is #reinventingTheWheel of getters and setters instead of augmenting *dataset* that can already get/setAttribute for you??? It makes no sense.

@vint thanks for the filter advice!

...probably better than silencing voices that might soon NOT be hung up on talking about the twit machine 24/7.

I appreciate it.

@Rural_Canadian works for me, added words to my filter: twitter, birdsite... There may be other names for it as well, but my timeline already became 1.5 times more manageable!

@vint Still, this was an excellent thought experiment.

I hadn't considered "add a cursor for each item and change the visibility" at all. This tactic may still prove useful elsewhere!

Thanks for that.
