@Rural_Canadian if it was just a few instances on which people specifically gathered to blabber about Twitter, well, that'd be way too easy, wouldn't that?
@Rural_Canadian btw, there is a public timeline word filtering in account preferences. At least, I can find it in Tusky app.
@Rural_Canadian works for me, added words to my filter: twitter, birdsite... There may be other names for it as well, but my timeline already became 1.5 times more manageable!

...probably better than silencing voices that might soon NOT be hung up on talking about the twit machine 24/7.
