Hello all atmospheric chemists

I have created a group called:

@atmochem

Follow it to receive all the group posts. Tag it will shar to the group and all followers.

Maybe that could help to connect with the #atmospheric #chemists #chemistry all over Mastodon

Please spread widely and follow:

Is there any tweetdeck type thing for Mastodon? If there isn't there should be, and it should be called Tootsuite IMO.
I guess the real scientific thing to do would be to remove the link for a bit and see if it changes
Has anyone who added the Mastodon #verification link to their Wordpress site noticed a sharp increase in failed login attempts? Just me?
#introduction I’m an atmospheric scientist interested in understanding concentration patterns and exposures at the hyper-local scale (<1 km), mostly in urban areas. We get at this with #mobile sampling and #low-cost sensors. A founding member of @AfriqAir, I’m working with @subu_caps, @dwestervelt, @vfmcneill and others to build air quality capacity in the Global South. Also interested in how to grow bigger #dahlias.
Rebuilding the same level of communication & community that took years to curate on Twitter will take a lot of time on Mastodon. There will be losses to public discourse & information sharing I'm sure. I still hope that folks will find me on this new site! #TwitterMigration #followfriday
It's been brought to my attention that the objectivity of at least one of the authors of this study is in question. So read the article with a critical lens. I still think this point made by the authors about the ethics of epi case studies is thought provoking.
