I rewatched one of my favourite childhood cartoons, Donald in Mathmagic Land, and one line in particular stood out to me

"No pencil is sharp enough to draw as fine as you can think, and no paper large enough to hold your imagination."

I was talking with some colleagues at work this week, and, as someone uneducated in economics, I'm realizing that inflation may be suffering from Goodhart's Law

"When a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure"

When comments about inflation are always followed up with others about wages stagnating, it feels like i should have made the connection much sooner

Why would you ever default a game window to be this tiny? I can't even read any text besides "Main Menu" and TYPINC.
