@zapdos On the positive side you can adjust your sailing area quite granularly and there is no cap on the costs of salvage or wreck removal.

Recently I researched insurance for a similar case (but in the end didn't buy the boat).
For various reasons (i.e. worldwide coverage possible), only Yacht-Pool and the omnipresent Pantaenius remained. Yacht-Pool showed no reaction at all (since 16.12.).
Pantaenius sent an offer. Please be aware: they don't cover the rigg (and in consequence the mast) if it's older than 15 years unless you have a positive inspection report or if it's older than 25 years.

Thinking about what I want to accomplish next year. I fear I have way too many ideas:
- getting (back) into #carpentry / #woodworking
- finishing a long distance #triathlon (again)
- passing the #LRC radio operator exam
- planning #sailing trips
- attending an #Babymetal concert
- getting rid of unused stuff / #downsizing
- making an #freediving course (for help with panic at a triathlon swim start and being able to dive ankers)
- getting better with #English and maybe learning #French
- ...

I finally managed to put together and send the application for the Swiss Certificate of Competence for Ocean Yachting.
