@ethanschoonover May I suggest "Wood screws be long enough?" and "Wood screws be short enough?"

Whisker Squadron: Survivor on Steam

A smooth roguelite shooter from the creators of RACE THE SUN, featuring a voiced cast of feline pilots in a dramatic showdown against corporate-powered robots called The Swarm. Features a 3-act campaign with branching paths, epic bosses, and a wide arsenal of pilots, ships, and weapons.

A big chunk of Motherboard’s staff just went off and built their own thing.

@mysterycoconut what if it hurt to teleport through force fields too? Hopefully teleporting into something hurts a LOT, but I could see tossing your *cough* quantumized molecules through an otherwise impenetrable barrier giving you trouble. Maybe it takes a while and you're stuck in place while it does? Vulnerable to attack?

I don't know how you're controlling resources (health) in the game but I love "at a cost" vs "you can't".

stop making the conversation about work-at-home about productivity

eliminating non-essential worker commutes means less fossil fuels wasted

remote policies increase access for disabled people, especially with chronic illness that flares

LGBT folks and PoC experience less bigotry and it's easier to report bigotry when they do

do some people want hybrid? do some people want on-site? sure

but stop pretending the discussion was about productivity or what employees want

it's about real estate portfolios

@mysterycoconut @Holi I had the same feedback. If you pull Week off-center a bit the U could be a big smile and the Es could suggest the squeezed eyes of a smiling person, if lower-case?

There is no benefit to anyone on the left being on twitter.

Nina Turner tweeted "Insulin should be free." some libertarians responded "Nina should pick cotton for free."

Did this obvious racism hurt them? No, they now have more followers than ever. Being over there is just being bait for these extremists to build their network.

Grotesque racist images of Nina, rather than being demoted by the algorithm are being *promoted* since the people posting them paid for blue checks.

Leave.

@jamie Oh, hum. Portable identity is on my short list of vital features.

The case for showing edits is because jokers will change their post to make it look like everyone agreed that cannibalism is the best diet, or something, right? (And maybe official tweets from park rangers or reporters can't be invisibly defaced by ne'er-do-wells?)

@jamie Ah-ha. I was surprised not to see even a bad early attempt at solving it yet, but frankly I've been ignoring Bluesky. (And Threads.)
