Communiqué du RAAR — À propos de la déclaration de candidature de Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Le RAAR n'est pas une organisation politique et ne se prononce pas sur les programmes. Mais notre engagement contre l'antisémitisme et tous les racismes nous oblige à prendre la parole.

À travers plusieurs déclarations — dont la reprise du thème du « peuple déicide » et une relativisation de la Shoah — Jean-Luc Mélenchon a franchi des lignes que nous ne pouvons taire.

La gauche a une histoire : celle de l'émancipation de 1791, de la défense de Dreyfus, de la Résistance. Cette histoire lui impose de ne pas consentir à l'antisémitisme, sous quelque forme que ce soit.

Nous appelons toutes les forces de gauche à la vigilance. ✊

"Idolatry of profit"

That might be one of the strong phrases I've heard anyone use about the AI companies. Pope Leo has called for *robust regulation* of AI and limits on its use for warfare, as he warned of the dangers of a technological revolution driven by "the idolatry of profit". That is an incredibly strong statement coming from the Vatican and I wonder how will AI companies will react? Let me take a wild guess? They will ignore him. Take jobs. Use it for wars.

Modern cars are computers on wheels that send home nonstop telemetry about you. In this post I remove my 2024 RAV4 Hybrid's modem and GPS to prevent that :)
