After trying out Reeder, I find it promising but not fully convincing yet. It handles many things well, but none exceptionally. For example, its text extraction is good, but Lire does it better. Podcast playback is decent, though Overcast offers more features like sleep timers. Reeder’s Mastodon integration is solid, but other apps provide a fuller experience. Still, it’s intriguing enough for me to subscribe for a few months and see how it evolves over time.
