This talk was more personal than anything I've ever tackled from a stage, but it's also perhaps my favorite talk I've ever given. I hope you like it.
Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended State Attorney Andrew Warren for refusing to prosecute abortion cases, calling him a "woke ideologue" and Warren took DeSantis to court. During the trial Warren attorneys asked DeSantis officials what "woke" means.
DeSantis’ General Counsel Ryan Newman answered “the belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them.”
So we agree on what #woke means and that the anti-woke crowd is against addressing systemic injustices in the US.
THERAPIST: You need more friends
ME: I put bird seed that attracts raccoons in the backyard, last week
