It's much more civilized on the Android side since the Logan Update.
All the apps have been brainwashed into thinking that their deletion leads to renewal and reincarnation into a better app.
@Chrishallbeck TRVTH
Even worse is if you doze off while doomscrolling in Twitter, and then you wake up, and the screen has all the apps shaking wondering which one is about to die and you're like wait wut, and then you realize that when you dozed off you must have somehow exited Twitter, returned to the homescreen and then your thumb rested onscreen on top of one of the app icons and the app-removal process was invoked and you spend the next few hours wondering how that all happened
omg that just cracked me up
@Chrishallbeck Ha! It's a similar situation when I go to move an app, except it's more jealousy than fear. As in "wait, you're moving iHeart up *there*?
Much more scary in Windows...
There’s a way to do it now where you don’t have to scare all the apps.
This way is like taking one app into your office and killing it privately and quickly.
Select “Remove App” instead of “Efit Home Screen”
