@Chancerubbage oh he’s not using AI at all. It was just a thing that rendered differently in Chrome, hence the need to test. The primary element is having a proper keyboard. It’s not going to be a mobile game, ever, I think.
@Chancerubbage for the purposes of game testing we need a full size machine though. I’m not even sure his mechanic would work on a phone since it requires deft keyboarding skills.
Trying to be patient after I *possibly* have a couple of interviews coming up. There's that anxious time where you're waiting to schedule them, waiting on a nameless HR person to send an email, so you keep checking spam. You're afraid NOT to answer your phone (they're all scam calls!). You wake up and check the inbox... but nothing yet.
Patience, Jedi...
In a world of bad news, this really sucks. For kids, and for anyone trying to learn to code (which, given the access to "vibe coding" tools, is fast becoming an anomaly). Why are some people like this? Why steal joy?
@Chancerubbage My son was making a game and didn't have chrome on any of his machines (because he's smart), so we're putting together a quarantine POS PC for testing... because this is ridiculous
@provuejim Spirit Halloween could do the funniest thing …
Been a rough week. Depression, but then a good therapy session helped with my feelings of being overwhelmed. But today I realized I'll probably never again talk to my best friend of over 30 years. It's a weird feeling, just a couple of months ago we were having 2-hour conversations. I helped him after his difficult divorce. I was there when he lost his house in 2009. We've had a lot of crazy adventures, but they're all memories now. Good luck, my friend. I'll miss you.
if I boost a post, it means I agree with everything that user will ever say or ever has said, and trust them to make medical decisions for me should I become incapacitated
