What do new users find most confusing about Mastodon?
I wrote a thread about what I've been hearing, while in conversation with @pam9000

From what I can tell (my very subjective view) I most often hear people complain about ... 1) they can't figure out what server to join, and/or the servers are full. Also unsure which server is "best" for them. Often unaware that one can follow/be-followed by anyone on any server 2) sign-up hangs/doesn't work. Seems to be a problem of servers being overloaded and/or apps not being able to talk to servers 3) once on, difficult to find who to follow ...
