@randahl I think it is a little weirder than that; my understanding is that it was unscheduled play at a public course, not his own which Trump tends to do. This immediately raises the question on why you would stake out a public course on the off chance and hence if Trump was even the target. I also heard last night that Obama used to do is golfing at Andrews airbase which could be secured much more easily

I've served in the ADF and later was a public servant in Defence for many years. I believe the organisation will work tirelessly to frustrate, delay and block every meaningful recommendation of the Royal Commission.
Basically, they are just a bunch of bastards that don't care.
@johnquiggin Labor ALWAYS start with talking the talk and then squib it when it comes to the actual doing and implementing for an LNP lite outcome - case in point, the NACC
