So who here was caught up in the great SF electrical outage yesterday, when 30% of PG&E customers were without power? We were out for over twelve hours.
I hear that some folks still don't have power.

We had an orange visitor on this wet morning. Very suspicious.
I went to the coffee shop to buy beans, and spur-of-the-moment got a cappuccino to go and walked a block to Golden Gate Park. I miss this part of the park (called Big Rec) so much. I used to walk our dogs down here every weekend for years, but one of our current dogs has anxiety issues so this seems like a no go. It's so peaceful, something we could all use more of.
Picked up my new (to me) 24-channel mixer yesterday. Headphones included for scale.
I have another 'synth' item for sale! Check it out here, share with friends. Thank you. 🙂

Having tons of fun playing with my new (yet pretty old) acquisition: a Brüel & Kjaer precision sound level meter and octave filter. This version was produced in the mid-60s, looks like it was made last week. Works just about perfectly. Very high quality mic + a filter.
I just need to say that the aroma in the house from this turkey stock is DIVINE.
