I'm thrilled to be attending the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival in Italy from 1-6 November. One of the things I'm doing is giving a presentation to the Italian Videogame Program (IVIPRO) two-day conference that's taking place during this incredible celebration of sf/fantasy/horror cinema. I'll be discussing adapting the Jennifer Wilde comics for a video game for Outsider Games.
I may even have gelato!
Happy Halloween, everyone!

Overall, probably the best #StarTrek debut series I've watched: costuming, design, acting, writing: all top notch.
There are stumbles, but the quality in the series is high and maintains it.
There have been many moments of humour and genuine pathos. And I'm totally digging the inclusivity.
In a stellar cast Sonequa Martin-Green as Michael Burnham is always luminous, and is by turns badass officer and mixed-up human grieving her mistakes.
I often watch re-runs of M*A*S*H on TV while making dinner.
I'm always struck at what a terrific show it was, with great characters, and how often it dealt with difficult and harrowing situations.
It keeps coming back to the horror of war, the insanity of the bureaucracy, and the danger that divisions between people create.
The show can make you laugh and leave you in tears.
It remains memorable #TV (Especially when they ditched the laugh track.)
